TORQUAY Willows Specsavers is in the running for a prestigious national award – and the store staff need your votes.
The store is among only five opticians’ outlets across the country chosen in the Practice of the Year category of the AOP Awards.
Its staff have been recognised for their excellence in the profession, outstanding talent, innovation and exceptional contributions made to customers.
AOP Awards finalists can be voted for by customers, colleagues and contacts by going online at https://www.mi-vote.com/aopawards2020 or using a voting form available in the store.
Simon Simmonds, store director, says: ‘We’re very honoured to be among the finalists for Practice of the Year.
‘This is an acclaimed award, and being in the country’s top five reflects all the hard work, ability and enthusiasm of the team we have here at the store. I’m very lucky to have such talented people to work with.
‘We have always enjoyed a great relationship with our customers, and I’d be very grateful if anyone who has had a positive experience with us could vote for our store in the AOP Awards.’
Voting for the awards, organised by the Association of Optometrists, closes at 5pm on 18 December.
The gala dinner and awards ceremony will take place on 26 January at the ExCel convention centre in London.
