Torquay seafront closed – Diversions in place

Torquay seafront is currently closed due to the weather this afternoon, Thursday, 31st January.

Torbay Road in Torquay is closed due to the weather and sea conditions.

Torbay Council said on Facebook:
“Meadfoot Sea Road and Torquay Seafront have both been closed due to strong winds and overtopping.”

The usual diversions are in place.

Bus routes are diverted via Preston Down Road.

#Torbay 12, 22 & GOLD diverting via Preston Down Road due to Torquay seafront being closed. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Meadfoot sea Road is also closed.

TRAVEL: In Torquay Meadfoot Sea Road is now closed due to strong winds.
