Update: The road is now open.
Torquay seafront has just been closed this morning, Friday 5th April.
The road closed just before 8am. It is closed between Wheatridge Lane and Belgrave Road due to strong winds and flooding.
Traffic is following the usual diversions.

Stagecoach 12 and gold services are being diverted via the ring road.
