Trains have been cancelled this morning, Friday 12th October due to the severe weather.
Services affected as per National rail website are: CrossCountry between Plymouth and Edinburgh / Glasgow Central / Bristol Temple Meads, between Penzance and Plymouth and also between Paignton and Manchester.
Great Western Railway between Liskeard and Looe and also between Penzance / Plymouth and London Paddington.
All CrossCountry services between Exeter St Davids and Paignton/ Plymouth are cancelled this morning until high tide passes at 11:00, due to waves predicted to be overtopping the exposed sea wall at Dawlish.
All train services will run at a reduced speed on routes between Plymouth and Penzance extending journey times by up to 20 minutes.
CrossCountry services are suspended between Plymouth and Penzance.
