Update: Emergency services have left the scene and train services have returned to normal. There is currently no update on the person whonwas receiving medical treatment.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident in Paignton today, Friday 22nd February.
“The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Newton Abbot and Paignton. As a result, all lines are blocked.
“Trains between these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 13:00,”
It has been reported locally that an elderly woman has collapsed on the crossing and is being treated by emergency services.
