A vehicle has been seized in Newton Abbot this evening, 12th May, by police for having no insurance or tax.
The vehicle came to the attention of police after the driver was seen drinking a pint of lager at the wheel.
The driver was breathalysed and blew under the legal limit.
The vehicle was seized due to lack of tax and insurance.
Newton Abbot police posted on their facebook page:
“This evening a Male was seen drinking a pint of lager while at the wheel. He blew under the legal limit during a road side test. A lack of insurance and tax however, resulted in seizure of the vehicle,” along with the hashtag#longWalkHome
