Emergency services were called to Churchmen Valley Road, Newton Abbot this morning to a 2 vehicle collision.
Two fire engines from Newton Abbot attended the incident near Ogwell Mill Road just after 7am.
One person was trapped in a vehicle and was released using hydraulic cutting equipment.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset fire service said:
“Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to allow access to one female with suspected minor injuries. Casualty was treated by paramedics,”
The road was blocked both ways whilst the accident was dealt with.
