Emergency services were called to Tor Hill Road, Torquay this morning to reports of a woman holding onto a second floor window.
A fire appliance from Torquay was mobilised to the incident just before midday.
A fire service spokesperson said:
“Crews found the female hanging from a window ledge approximately 10ft high. The lady was rescued using a triple extension ladder. She was uninjured.”
