Appeal for information after woman seriously injured in collision

Tools stolen from vans in Torquay and Newton Abbot

Police have appealed for witnesses after a  woman was seriously injured in a collision on the A379 near Starcross.

The collision happened on Friday 24th November 2017 at around 10:35am.

Two vehicles collided and one of the vehicles collided with a pedestrian – a 75-year-old local woman who was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The weather at the time was dry and sunny.

A 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
