Woman suffers black eye and broken ankle in Torquay attack

An 18-year-old woman suffered a black eye and broken ankle after being attacked in Torquay earlier this month.

The incident happened on New Year’s Day at around 3.30am.

The victim was confronted and assaulted by two woman who were stood outside the entrance to the park in Ellacombe Road.
The suspects are described as both in their late teens / early 20’s in age. One suspect is described as white, 5ft7ins in height, medium length black hair and wearing large hooped ear rings.

The second suspect is a white female, short light hair which was long on one side and shaved on the other.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area prior to the attack, or anyone who has information that can assist police with the investigation.
