Emergency services were called to Berry Head this evening, 10th January, to reports of a woman on the edge of Berry Head.
Police and coastguard attended the incident just before 7pm.
Police managed to talk to the woman and get her to safety.
Berry Head Coastguard said on their Facebook page:
“We met with Devon & Cornwall Police at Berry Head car park to get an update. The woman was in a precarious position on the end of Berry Head with police in attendance and we were asked to hold back. Thankfully the woman was talked back from the edge by one of the officers and transported away from the scene in their vehicle,”
