The fire service was called to reports of a motorcycle fire in Newton Abbot today, 10th July.
One fire engine from Newton Abbot was mobilised to the incident involving a motorcycle leaning against a wall of a property in Broadridge Close just after 4.30pm.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website:
“On arrival the crew confirmed that the building wasnt involved in fire and got to work extinguishing the motorcycle.
“The bike was extinguished using a hose reel jet. A thermal imaging camera and a spill kit was also used.
“The motorcycle sustained 100% damage by fire and the exterior fascia of the building suffered slight fire and heat damage,”
