Time is ticking and we’re nearly out of time to use up our old style £10 notes.
The note will be replaced by the the new Jane Austen polymer which was launched last September.
It’s just over a week until they are no longer accepted in UK shops. The last day to use them as legal tender is 1st March 2018
With more than £2 billion worth of the paper note still in circulation, it may be a good idea to check in your wallet or piggy bank.
Although you’ll no longer be able to spend them in a shop, if you have an old note, you can still exchange them for the new equivalent at the Bank of England.
