Ocean Torbay is proud to support the Torbay BMX Club in hosting the first race in the regional series for the South West BMX Championship.
As a national standard BMX track Torbay have been chosen to host the first of a series of regional races that take place every year across the South West. In partnership with Ocean BMW Torbay this fantastic event will attract hundreds of families from across the region later this month. The main event takes place on Sunday 20th March at Torbay BMX Club in Paignton, however the track will be open for practice on Saturday 19th.
The voluntary efforts of the Torbay BMX Club have been fundamental in restoring the facility to a race standard track allowing this exciting event to take place. In a state of serious disrepair caused by neglect and misuse the hard work and perseverance of the team have restored the track to it’s former glory and have launched the Torbay BMX Club to provide a fun yet safe environment for the local community. With membership numbers growing, Torbay BMX Club welcomes all age groups from all corners of the community providing a relaxed friendly environment to experience a new sport.
As a locally owned family business, Ocean BMW Torbay are proud of their association with several local sports clubs and as such are looking forward to supporting the race.
