South Hams District Council’s Executive has today agreed to support a £76,000 masterplan which will look at the redevelopment of Kingsbridge Quay.

“It is important that we employ a consultant to help us look at all of the development opportunities here. Then when we talk to the town we will be ready with a solid foundation of evidence.”

Subject to approval by Full Council, the masterplan will enable the Council to fully assess the site, begin early discussions with key stakeholders, start to think about proposals, looking at the costs of development and any potential returns the Council might make on the investment.
