Police are continuing to investigate the death of a baby boy in Newton Abbot.
Police were called to Brownhills Road by ambulance crews just after 10.30am on Wednesday, 15th June, informing them of the death of an 8 month old baby.
Police have been investigating the death with both police and scenes of crimes officers attending the property.
A 27 year old man was taken into police custody but later bailed until August. This bail has now been cancelled and police have stated that no further policing action will be taken against him at this time.
Post mortem and toxicology reports have not identified a cause of death and therefore the death remains unexplained.
Further examinations are currently taking place, police await the results.
