Over the summer Salcombe Harbour would like all residents and visitors to tell them what they think of their five year plan: A plan which could see the Harbour transform into an eco-harbour, improve safety on the water, adapt to the changing needs of visitors, support the local communities and develop the skills of its dedicated staff.
This summer Salcombe Harbour is running a consultation on its draft 2017-2022 Strategic Business Plan. This is specifically being done over the busy summer period to capture feedback visitors as well as residents.
Adam Parnell, Salcombe Harbour Master said: “Over the next five years the Harbour Board would like to see the harbour meet evolving expectations and the needs of Harbour users. This plan will ensure that the Harbour is a safe, efficient and sustainable modern 21st century eco-harbour while maintaining its unspoiled and naturally beautiful character”.
