Man dies following Exeter fire

Man taken to hospital following Paignton fire

A man has died following a fire in Exeter yesterday, Sunday 9th October.

Emergency services were called to a property in Turnworth Court, Coombe Street, Exeter, yesterday afternoon. The body of a 47 year old man was discovered at the address.

The mans next of kin has been informed but formal identification has yet to take place.

Fire Investigation team and the police remain at the address – police are currently treating the death as unexplained and are appealing for witnesses.
