Fishing boat rescued from rocks at Hopes Nose

Torbay Coastguard and Torbay RNLI  had an early morning call out today, 17th October to a boat stuck on rocks.

The fishing boat was stuck on rocks at Hopes Nose.

The vessel was checked for damage before being towed to Brixham.

A spokesperson for Torbay Coastguard said:
“Team members took our water rescue equipment down to the boats position and provided safety cover whilst Torbay Lifeboat connected a line and managed to pull the boat free, they took it under tow back to Brixham Harbour,”
