Mental health groups are being invited to apply for grants from a £29,000 fund aimed at preventing suicide in the Bay.
Grants of between £500 and £2000 are available to community groups and voluntary sector organisations following a surge in mental health issues caused in part by COVID-19.
The money is being made available by Torbay Council as part of its COVID recovery funding from the government. It is aimed at tackling mental health problems through peer support, safe spaces and online support.
Administered by Torbay Community Development Trust, the deadline for applications is Monday, November 1st and the money must be spent by March 31st 2022.
