A38 closed near Buckfastleigh due to serious accident

Update: Police have confirmed that a man was fatally injured in the accident

The A38 is currently closed South bound between the Dartbridge Junction and the Lower Dean Junction due to a serious accident.

The incident follows an earlier accident on the A38. Police have warned about driving condition due to the weather.

A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Police said on social media:
“I cannot stress enough, the road conditions are horrendous and all of the Emergency Services have been run off our feet all day with RTC’s. Do not drive if you don’t have to,”
