Animals in Distress have cancelled their Family Fun Day which was due to be held on Saturday 16th September.
The Ipplepen based charity will announce a new date for the event soon. The event will now take place next year.
Posting on Facebook, Animals in Distress said:
“We have regretfully had to cancel our Family Fun Day this Sunday, due to waterlogged parking fields. We are all very disappointed, and sorry to all our supporters for the inconvenience.
We rely on our events to raise much needed funds for the dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs at the rescue centre – if anyone would like to make a donation in lieu of coming to our fun day, you can do so via our website https://www.animalsindistress.uk.com/Appeal/donate-now
