Appeal after man and woman seriously injured in Exeter attack

Police have appealed for information after a man and woman were seriously injured in an attack in the Whipton area of Exeter last week.

Police are investigating the incident which happened in an alleyway in the Barberry Close area around 9.30pm on Thursday 6 May

A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were attacked by two people, both were seriously injured. The man remains in hospital in a stable condition.

It is believed all parties involved in the incident are known to each other.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to call 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting crime reference CR/036409/21.
