Totnes Police have appealed for information after 15 sheep were savagely attacked in their field at the weekend.

Appealing to the public on social media, Totnes Police said: “Between the hours of 0000 and 0200 on Sunday 6th October, 15 sheep were savagely attacked in their field out at South Brent. Such were the horrific nature of the injuries, 4 had to be immediately shot, having endured a night lying with much of their insides ripped out. This included 2 lambs. This was deeply distressing for the farmer.
