Appeal for information after barbed wire wrapped baton incident

Police have appealed for information after a person was threatened by a man with an baton wrapped in barbed wire.

The incident happened on Marldon Road, Paignton, yesterday, Wednesday 17 March at around 8.30am.

A man driving white pick-up truck, possibly a Toyota Hilux threatened the occupant of another car.

The two cars passed each other on a narrow stretch of the road just prior to the threats being made.

The suspect is described as white male in his 40s, approximately 5’10” – 6’2” in height, with short brown hair. He was wearing green wellington boots.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, or has any information which could help officers identify the man, is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference, CR/020683/21.
