Appeal for information after man attempted to inappropriately touch teenager

Police have appealed for information following an incident in Torquay on Wednesday.

The incident, in which a man made an inappropriate comment to a 14 -year-old girl before attempting to touch her, happened at around 6.30am on Wednesday 14th November in Mallock Road.

The girl immediately left the area and was unharmed, but police are keen to identify the suspect and are appealing for witnesses.

The suspect is a white man, aged in his 30s or 40s, chubby build and approximately 5ft 7ins tall. He has long unkempt brown hair, wearing a dark hooded jacket and white jogging bottoms.
