(Last Updated On: May 18, 2018)

There has been an appeal for information after 10 bags of sheep remains were dumped on Dartmoor.

Devon & Cornwall Police and Devon, Somerset & Torbay Trading Standards have appealed for information after 10 rubble sacks containing sheep fleece and jaw bones were found near Cadover Bridge.

It is thought that the remains, found in blue and black rubble sacks are possibly from illegal slaughter.

There are also concerns these sheep may have been stolen. No identifiable marks or tags discovered.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area can report to Trading Standards on 01392 381381 quoting reference 769453 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111
