Appeal for information following knifepoint robbery in Torquay

Police have appealed for information following a knifepoint robbery at a shop in Torquay at the weekend.

The incident took place on Saturday 16th November at McColls, in Marychurch Road, Plainmoor at around 8.30am.

The suspect made off from the scene on foot. He is described as a white male, 5ft 6in in height, aged between 40 and 50, of average build with a weathered/tanned complexion and sunken cheeks.

He was wearing dark clothing with black trousers and trainers and a long-sleeved, hooded top, carrying a Tesco bag for life.

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting crime reference number: CR/103521/19.
