Police have appealed for information following a serious collision in Teignmouth today, Saturday 3 April.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian at approximately 1247hrs on Dawlish Road.
The female pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Her next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed by police whilst scene examination was conducted.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, either vehicle prior to the collision or have dash camera footage to contact police, quoting the log number 448 of 3rd April 2021.
