Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision

Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision in Teignmouth yesterday, Monday 1 August.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to reports of a collision between a black Kia Sportage towing a caravan and a orange Zontes motorcycle on Bishopsteignton Road at around midday.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 70s from Paignton, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Kia driver was uninjured.

The road was closed until 7pm whilst investigation work took place.

Police have appealed for witnesses and dash cam footage relevant to the incident.
