Police have appealed to the public for witnesses after a 12-year-old girl was punched in the face by a woman in Dartington last month.
The girl, who was with her friend, had been squirting members of the public with a water pistol when the woman took it off her and punched her in the face.
The incident occurred at around 7.15pm on Friday 29 May outside Pizza Side on Totnes Road.
Any witnesses, or anyone with any information, is asked to contact police on 101 or via email 101@dc.police.uk quoting CR/042933/20.
