Appeal for witnesses after elderly woman injured in Plymouth collision

Police have appealed for witnesses after a collision in Plymouth left an elderly woman with serious injuries.

Emergency services attended the incident at Maidstone Avenue on Friday 29th April, at around 5.20pm.

A police statement said:
“A Renault Kangoo appears to have struck several stationary vehicles before rolling on to its nearside trapping the 81-year-old female driver by the arm. After being released by the Fire Service the injured woman was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious arm injuries,”

Officers from the Serious Collisions Unit at Crownhill Police Station are investigating the collision and are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101 or 101@dc.police.uk, quoting police log 587 of the 29th April.
