Appeal for witnesses after man assaulted whilst out running

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was assaulted whilst out running.

The incident happened in Central park, Plymouth between 11.10pm and 11.50pm on Friday 28th June.

A 32-year-old man was out running when he was approached from behind and knocked out, receiving serious injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information which may assist them in identifying the attacker.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or saw anyone acting suspiciously around the Central Park area at the time of the offence is asked to come forward and speak to police.
