Appeal for witnesses after man assaulted

Police have appealed for witnesses after an attack on a man in Totnes earlier this month.

The assault left the 19-year-old victim needing stitches.

The victim was walking across a field next to the skate park in Station Road at around 3.55pm on Friday 14 June when he was targeted by a group of youths.

He was punched in the face and repeatedly kicked, sustaining a split lip which required stitching.

The suspects are described as being aged between 17 and 18 and were all wearing tracksuit-type clothing.
