Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was choked and then threatened with a baseball bat in Plymouth.
The incident happened by Switch nightclub in Sherwell Lane between 6.30am and 6.50am on Sunday 12 September.
A man was seen to get out of a car and assault the other man.
It is believed that the victim ran from the scene and police are urging him to come forward to assist with enquiries.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help the police with their investigation.
A 29-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and driving while unfit through drink or drugs. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
