Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision in Plymouth yesterday, Thursday 8 July.
Emergency services were called to Cobourg Street at around 10.15am to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man from Plymouth, was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious head injuries.
A 38-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The road was closed until around 6pm whilst investigations took place.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, particularly anyone with Dash Cam footage, are asked to contact the Police on 101 quoting log number 336 of 8 July 2021.
