Appeal for witnesses after pedestrian seriously injured in collision

Police have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Torquay last night, Monday 2 January.

Emergency Services were called to reports of a collision involving a Renault Clio and a pedestrian on Hele Road at around 5.20pm.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s was taken to Torbay Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the car, a local man in his 20s was uninjured.

The road was closed whilst police investigated the scene.
