Appeal for witnesses following serious collision on A38

Police have appealed for witnesses following a collision involving a van and cyclist near Exeter yesterday evening, Tuesday 29 June.

The collision, which involved a white Ford Transit van and a teenage cyclist happened on the Clyst Honiton bypass just after 9pm.

The 15-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital with what is believed to be a non-life-threatening head injury.

The road was closed for four hours whilst the scene was investigated.

Police would like to speak to witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision.
