Police have appealed for witnesses following reports of two assaults in Plymouth earlier this month.
The first happened on Sunday 3 October at between 4am and 4.30am an altercation involving three people has taken place outside Poundland on Union street. A woman was assaulted.
Later the same morning, between 5am and 5.30am outside the old Dance Academy on Union street it was reported that a further altercation has taken place where a man was assaulted, causing an injury to his face.
A 34-year-old woman from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm. She has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have informed which could assist the police investigation, to get in touch.
