Appeal for witnesses after woman seriously injured in collision

Trains delayed due to incident at Torre train station

Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision in Exeter yesterday, Wednesday 1 November.

The collision between a vehicle and pedestrian happened on Western Way, Inner-By-Pass at around 11.40pm.

The collision involved Red Ford Escort and a woman in her 20’s, who serious leg injuries.

The scene was attended by the Alliance Roads Policing team, Armed Response team and locally based Response officers. The road was closed for around four hours as scene examination work took place.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage are asked to contact 101@dc.police.uk quoting log 867 1 December.
