Police have appealed for witnesses following an assault in Torquay town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning, 13 November.
Police were called to reports of an assault outside JD’s bar, Fleet Street at around 2.40am.
A man in his 40s, sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital.
As a result of enquiries, a 39-year-old man from Torquay was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody at this time.
