Appeal for witnesses following dangerous driving incident

Police have appealed for witnesses following a dangerous driving incident in Plymouth yesterday, Sunday 13 June.

The incident happened last night at around 9.20pm near the Salumi Bar & Eatery. A black 4×4 was reportedly driving erratically and collided with ‘street furniture’ before driving away from the scene.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident, or anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the vehicle before or after the incident, or has dashcam footage of the vehicle.

A 26-year-old man from Plymouth was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink driving and is in police custody.
