Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision

Police have appealed for witnesses and dascham footage following a fatal collision in Shaldon on Tuesday 7 April.

A motorcyclist in his 30s was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision on Teignmouth Road.

Emergency services were called to the collision involving a motorcycle and refuse truck near the Labrador Bay car park, at around 1.10pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses and in particular would like to speak with the male driver of a silver-coloured convertible sports car which was said to have its roof down.

The driver could be able to help officers with their enquiries and may have witnessed events leading up to the collision.
