Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision in Torquay in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 2 April.
Emergency services were called to reports of a single vehicle collision on Barton Road at around 2.10am.
One of the occupants was pronounced deceased at the scene. Their family have been informed. The second occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for several hours whilst a forensic examination of the scene was conducted.
