Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision in Dawlish this morning, Monday 18 January.
Emergency services were called to reports of a two vehicle collision involving an Audi Q5 and a Honda CBF, on Exeter Road at around 8.45am.
A 50-year-old man was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Exeter Road was closed for approximately three and a half hours to allow for an examination of the scene and recovery of the vehicles.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any witnesses of the incident to come forward.
