Appeal for witnesses following unprovoked assault

Police in Totnes have appealed for information following an unprovoked assault in the town last week.

The incident happened  on Fore Street at 3.30pm on Thursday, 30th November 2017.

Posting in social media, Totnes Police said:

“This unprovoked assault saw a male punched and kicked a number of times and his jacket damaged by a male, described as white, 20-30 years of age, blonde hair, 6 feet tall wearing sandy coloured slip on boots, pale blue skinny jeans and a large green jacket.

“There are believed to be several persons who saw what happened,”

Witnesses and anyone with information is asked to call 101 – CR/104280/17 refers.
