Police have appealed to the public for information or dash cam footage following an alleged road rage incident in Exeter on Wednesday, 22nd November.
The incident happed on Cumberland Way in Exeter between 7.50am-8am.
Devon and Cornwall Police explained on their website:
“The victim driving a BT Openreach Transit van, the suspect a red BMW. Both vehicles had come through the traffic lights at the junction with Main Road, Pinhoe and merged from two lanes into one, travelling towards Sowton.
“The suspect who was driving the BMW got out of his vehicle and made threats, including hitting and head-butting and punching the window of the BT van.
“The vehicles then continued their journey to the next roundabout when again the suspect got out of the BMW and again punched the BT van,”
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-40s, white, around 5ft 9ins tall, small build, and wearing grey jumper and washed out blue jeans.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any dashcam footage that can help with enquires are asked to contact the police on 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference CR/101617/17.
