Emergency services including the police helicopter and armed police were at the scene of an incident in Torquay town centre this evening, Sunday 4th August.
The incident happened in the Castle Circus area of the town.There was a huge emergency services presence in and around Castle Circus at around 6.30pm.
There were a number of police and ambulance crews at the scene.
It appears that at least 2 people have been arrested.
The nature of the incident is not currently known
