Police have appealed for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Exmouth last month.
The incident took place at around 11pm on Tuesday the 31st of January, in the Victoria Road and Camperdown Terrace area.
A man in his 40’s was approached by a man who was carrying a small knife and demanded money. The victim punched the suspect who ran off empty handed.
The suspect is described as dark skinned, dressed in black clothing, around 5”7 tall in his late 20’s/early 30’s, clean shaven, skinny build and wearing a hoody.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or who witnessed anything suspicious, and appeal for any dash cam footage which may have been recorded at the relevant time.
