Berry Head Coastguard help in Boxing Day rescue

Man rescued from sea by waterpark lifeguards

Berry Head Coastguard were called out today to help with a rescue in St Marys Bay this afternoon.

The Coastguard helped ambulance personnel after a Man had been found by walkers on a Coast path.

The Man, who was found laying in thick vegetation, had suffered a diabetic hypo attack.

A spokesperson for Berry Head Coastguard said:
“The casualty was stabilised by paramedics and regained consciousness. He was then safely put onto our stretcher and we transferred him to the ambulance.”
